About Beth Collette
I graduated college with a Bachelors Degree in Commercial Art with concentrates in jewelry & photography. Throughout my graphic design career I always had a little side business making jewelry of some sort. After taking a couple classes in glass fusing in 1999 I was hooked on the process. I borrowed a kiln, bought a few pieces of glass and started creating. I was a co-owner of a boutique at the time so this became my evening job and I worked at it almost every night. I was accumulating these one of a kind pendants, earrings, necklaces and bracelets when a wonderful art gallery opened where I lived at the time on Sanibel Island, FL. I brought the pieces in to show the owner and she took (and sold) every last one! This was just the beginning...within a couple years I was wholesaling to a number of galleries or shops. This is when I made the decision to make it my full time career and haven't looked back since! I do both wholesale and retail and also did the art show circuit for a few years. My glass fusing career is one of the most enjoyable ventures in my life. Each day brings a new design, a new adventure. I invite you to share my passion for the art of fused glass.
